STUDENTS at Sale High School have been falling in love - with literacy!

Over the past two weeks the school has been holding a special initiative to encourage more pupils to get excited about vocabulary and reading.

The project has included Drop The Read which includes the school bell sounding spontaneously to encourage youngsters to pick up their reading books.

It also includes Word of the Week which encourages students to expand their vocabulary and learn new words.
