THE talented members of the Montague Patchers group put their handiwork on display at the United Reformed Church on Montague Rd Sale.

The Mayor, Cllr Jane Baugh, called in and was bowled over by the quality of the work of the quilting group.

She said: "This exquisite exhibition was not be missed, we are so very fortunate to have such talented people living in Sale and neighbouring communities."

The 70-strong group celebrates its 25th anniversary in May.
