A WOMAN was attacked and robbed after two men called at her house on Patterdale Road, Partington, and asked about buying a car.
After the 52-year-old woman told them her husband was not in, one of the men grabbed her and pushed her against a garage door.
He demanded money and searched the house as the other man stayed with her, at around 7.15pm on November 2.
They took car keys to a red 54 reg VW Golf and drove off in the vehicle, towards the direction of Lock Lane.
The first man is described as having olive skin, is in his 20s, around 5ft 9in tall and had a gaunt face. He was wearing a black hooded tracksuit.
The second man was white, stocky, in his 20s, around 5ft 10in tall and was wearing a grey hooded tracksuit.
