A Guided Tour of the excavations of the Old Timperley Hall Wednesday 26th May 2010 7:00pm
The bit being excavated is part of the mediaeval moated manor that originally existed on the site prior to the 18th Century hall and farm being built. Artefacts have been found going back many hundreds of years, so this guided tour is going to attract plenty of interest on the site.
Arrangements have been made to meet,that all members assemble at 6:50pm in the car park at the rear of the Old Hall Hotel, as the tour will take place at 7:00pm Prompt.
The site may be a little muddy, so fairly stout shoes are recommended and suitable clothing
