A MAN was left unconscious after a violent attack by four men in Old Trafford.
The gang kicked and punched their victim, brandishing weapons including nunchucks and a gun during the attack at 8.30pm on Sunday November 15 outside the Seahawk pub on Bold Street.
As the victim lay unconscious, one of the offenders leaned towards him and pushed a gun into his mouth, before running off.
Detective Constable Patrick Wood, from Operation Viceroy at Stretford CID, said: “We have the incident captured on CCTV and some of the faces of the offenders can be clearly seen.
“If anybody recognises these men, please get in touch. If you wish to speak anonymously, you can do.
“The victim has not come forward as yet, and we are asking him to make himself known to us.
“This is a vicious armed assault and could have easily led to serious injury or death if the gun had gone off. We are determined to ensure they don't get away with it.”
Operation Viceroy was set up in January 2007 to disrupt and prevent gun and gang related violence in the Trafford area.
