ALTRINCHAM companies are doing less well than those in more than 90 other towns across Britain, according to a new survey.
It shows that the average profit margin of the town's firms is well below that of Warrington - which came second in the study of 285 towns and cities.
By contrast Altrincham (average profit margin 5.64 per cent) is joint 92nd with Ripon and just ahead of Macclesfield.
