TRAFFORD firms are being targeted by a new set of award judges...

They are looking for companies with an outstanding record of success throughout the last few years.

And they are ready to hand out a prestigious business prize - the Pacesetter Award.

In the initiative, organised by SAM in association with chartered accountants and business advisers Kidsons Impey in Altrincham, judges are now ready to hear about all that is good in local business and commerce.

The Pacesetter Award is open to businesses, large or small, and is run quarterly to highlight the top performers.

John Whittick, partner at Kidsons Impey's Altrincham office, says: "The Pacesetter Award will seek to identify and illustrate aspects of good management, using success stories which - if adopted by others - could make a significant difference to business performance."

All award winners will be featured in SAM and will receive a bottle of champagne and a certificate as prizes.

SAM editor Phil Fleming says: "We are delighted to be involved in this initative which is designed to give recognition to business achievement and performance."
