AS residents of the Whitehall Road area, we would like to agree with Jane Grant's views of the proposed development at Brooklands Sports Club.
If each of the projected 2,500 members of trainStation and Brooklands Sports Club make just one visit a week to the facility, this could involve around 200 cars per day - far too many in a residential area.
As members of the club for 34 years, we wish it success in the future - but as a sporting facility for young and old in the local community not as a commercial development bringing traffic to a quiet suburban area.
