Batting first, Timperley recovered well from the loss of two early wickets, thanks to Danny Higgin (24) and under fire skipper Martin Ward, showing a welcome return to form with 98.

A fluent innings by Alastair Bould (55) continued the good work and enabled TCC to reach 217-5 dec.

Timperley 3rdXI continued their good form with a comprehensive 86 run victory against Irby.
