TWO armed robberies in Davyhulme last week could be connected, according to police.
The incidents took place on Thursday evening within the space of ten minutes and the descriptions of the offenders are identical.
The trio struck first at the Sandgate Service Station on Lostock Road at around 5.40pm., threateneing the cashier with a gun before emptying the till and fleeing in a stolen Vauxhall Calibra, taken from the south of the borough.
Just ten minutes later, three men walked into the Right Choice store on Canterbury Road and used the same method to steal the float from the till.
Two offenders are around five feet ten inches tall and of medium build, wearing balaclavas and dark jackets. The third man has no further description and the stolen car is an R-reg.
