The biggest consolation was a spirited first half which saw Jordi Balcells shoot the Cheshire club into a 12th minute lead and though Lewes equalised the score was still 1-1 at the interval.
Lewes piled on the pressure in the second half, though, and after going 3-1 down Brooklands fell apart.
Lewes Belgian striker went on to score four goals to take their tally to six before Mike Renison was able to pull a goal back for the visitors.
A penalty goal took the score to 7-2
Brooklands play Indian Gymkhana on Sunday (1.45pm) followed the following week by a visit from Doncaster before the League mid-winter break.
