The scoring was opened early in the first half when Steve Brogdon dribbled passed three defenders and then smashed his shot into the net.
Number two came whe James Payne rolled back the years to set up Richard Midgley who calmy rolled the ball into an open net.
The second half saw Bowdon push for another, but they were unable to break down the Rhydding defence.
As the game entered its final chapter Ben Rhydding rallied and managed to score.
