Silver service from Harriers
SALE Harriers Manchester concluded their memorable cross country season in style at the National Championships in Stowe with three sets of silver team medals, one individual bronze and three merit trophies.
The Senior Women lost their chance of the title due to the late withdrawal of Internationals Ann Griffiths and Lucy Aphramor, but finished worthy runners-up to current holders Shaftesbury Barnet.
Robert Maycock, who has been selected for the GB World Cup, team, collected the individual bronze medal in the Men's under 20's event and, with Glen Comish, Stewart Wayne and Jamie Hitchen, also won silver team medals.
Both the men's and women's teams were awarded cups for the top club in the north and the men retained the aggregate trophy for the best all round club in the country.
