TWO Altrincham nursing homes could soon be the latest sites to be converted into flats.

For plans are in place to change the use of the White Lee home on Bentinck Road to provide five self-contained apartments.

And the application will include building and landscaping work, as well as spaces for nine cars if consent is passed by planning chiefs.

A scheme to provide 18 flats with a new four-storey extension is also planned for the Ellerslie site in Suffolk Road as part of a similar conversion.

Both plans are amongst the latest batch of applications lodged with Trafford Borough Council - details of which are now available for inspection during normal office hours at Trafford Direct 2000 at Sale Town Hall, Tatton Road, Sale.

In addition, plans for the most recently submitted applications for Altrincham area can be seen between 2pm and 3.30pm tomorrow (Friday) at the town hall in Market Street, Altrincham.
