UNICORN Junior Football Club progressed through to the quarter finals of the County Cup with an excellent win over Merseyside opponents Glenavon Eagles.
The first half ended goalless, but Unicorn had a lot of pressure without finding the net.
In the second half Adam Owen saw efforts hit the post and bar, before David Howarth broke the deadlock with a goal midway through the second half.
Within a minute of the restart David Shaw killed off the game after some superb passing from the home team.
Darren Simons made a couple of great saves to ensure Unicorn made it through to the next round.
