For many years now, residents, visitors and shopkeepers of Timperley Village have enjoyed the Planters and Troughs throughout the Village.
Whilst the majority of people believe that the council plant these up year on year, they will be surprised to learn that it’s planted each year by members of the community and recognition clearly goes to David Bendell and Peter Botting, for their time and efforts.
A big thanks also goes to Brian Crosby of Crosby’s Nurseries on Wood Lane, who every year supply the plants free of charge as a gift to Timperley village.
From all the people of Timperley Village a big thank you is well deserved, as you have brought colour to our village year on year and may it continue for many years to come.
