SALE runner Chris Simpson boosted Marie Curie Cancer Care when he completed his first Great Manchester Run.
Chris said: “It was my first time taking part, a really good experience and fantastically organised.
“I had a friend that passed away a couple of years ago and so started getting involved with Marie Curie by doing collections and wanted to do something a bit different - altogether I raised about £1,200.”
He was one of an 800-strong team of Marie Curie Cancer Care runners who raised money for the charity.
