"We have an educated, informed and creative population; people don’t sit back but get involved in our community whether it’s through youth groups, churches or community organisations.
"The Messenger is an important part of local life, keeping people informed about the issues they care about. At a time when local news and media are facing real challenges, we’re fortunate to have a high quality local newspaper to bring us the news.
"If you want to know what’s going on you need a copy of the Messenger."
