Without doubt Sale’s greatest strength is the quality and commitment of the people who make our communities work.
Volunteers in groups like the Sale Moor Community Partnership who stand up for local people and make a real difference.
They have provided better play facilities for local children and given teenagers a chance to do something positive.
They have worked with the police to make the community safer for all.
And where would we be without the hard work and dedication of those who organise the annual festival which is a real celebration of local culture and achievement?
We owe a real debt to the thousands of people across Trafford who make it a better place every single day."
