You may recall in July 2008 Timperley Civic Society and The Larkhill Centre In conjunction with FTS Trees Ltd, turned six lime trees that were felled on the edge of Larkhill and Timperley Car Park, due to decay, into four benches for the benefit of the community.
These trees have now been replaced with several, purchased through the council’s adoption scheme. In addition to these, many residents of the community have been working hard to bring back to this area hedging and various varieties of plants, which will play a major part in bringing back wildlife to Timperley, plus offering enjoyment for residents and visitors to our village.
Those involved, together with Executive Councillor Jonathan Coupe and members of Timperley Civic Society can be seen in the photos showing the Tree planting.
