A street in Sale has won the postcode lottery.

Lucky residents of Exmouth Road, who entered the competition, scooped £1,000 each as part of the  People's Postcode Lottery's daily prize on Tuesday (May 14).

While there are more than 100 properties on the street, less than a quarter of those homes were eligible to land the prize - the 23 properties with house numbers between 18 and 64.

Every day from Monday to Friday there are £1,000 prizes to be won, and twenty postcodes picked.

While on Saturdays, players could win a share of £1 Million, and on Sundays players could each win £30,000, and once a month players in a postcode sector share £3.2 Million or more.

The Sale winners were those who held and entered with the postcode M33 5HU.

It was the first time a property was picked in Trafford this month.
