A GMP Trafford officer was sacked from the force for the use of "racially aggravated language".

Radoslaw Mikulski used the language two separate times in September 2022 and October 2022.

PC Mikulski was reported to the GMP Professional Standards Directorate and an internal investigation was started into his conduct.

He accepted it was gross misconduct and, this week, Chief Constable Stephen Watson agreed it was gross misconduct at a tribunal.

He was sacked from the force for breaches of the standards of 'Equality and Diversity' and 'Authority, Respect and Courtesy' although the chief constable agreed there was no malice in his conduct.

Detective Chief Superintendent Mike Allen, of the GMP Professional Standards Directorate, said: "The language used by the police officer was unacceptable in any walk of life, clearly not compatible with being a police officer and this is why he finds himself dismissed from GMP."

PC Mikulski was placed on the College of Policing's barred list, where he remains unless he succeeds in a review application.

He cannot start a review application for a minimum of five years.
