A Sale man who abused a bounce back loan intended to aid businesses through the pandemic has been banned from running any businesses for over a decade.
Kevin Roberts, whose last address was on Gratrix Lane, was the director of Connect IT Solutions Ltd when it went into liquidation around a year ago.
In 2020, according to the Insolvency Service, the business applied for a bounce back loan of £50,000.
But this bounce back loan of £50,000 was around twice what it was eligible for based on its turnover.
Connect IT Solutions went into liquidation around a year ago with around £44,000 of the bounce back loan remaining outstanding.
After an investigation by the Insolvency Service, Mr Roberts was banned from running any businesses until 2034 starting this month.
