Police are appealing for assistance from the public to trace the next of kin of a man who died in Urmston.
John McNuff died at his home on Woodbridge Road last week.
Appealing for information about Mr McNuff in a post on social media on Wednesday (October 25), GMP Trafford said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 75-year-old.
In UK law, there is no definition of next of kin, but it is understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.
Anyone with information about the next of kin of Mr McNuff is asked to contact the Police Coroner's Office in Stockport on 0161 856 9696.
