A comedy night is being held in Altrincham to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues.
At 8pm on November 9, the Paint Altrincham Blue 2023 Comedy Night will be held at the J Davidson Stadium, the home of Altrincham FC.
A number of comedians will be performing on the night, including:
- Hayley Ellis - An award-winning comedian who has supported tours for Sarah Millican, Jason Manford, Ellie Taylor and John Bishop
- Dan Tiernan - The BBC New Comedian of the Year and British Comedian of the Year 2022
- LJ Francis
- Nina Gilligan - 2023 Club Comedian of the Year
The event is being organised by Paint Altrincham Blue, a week-long initiative set up by Tony Collier in 2020 which looks to raise awareness for both prostate and testicular cancers and men’s mental health, the three biggest killers of men in the UK.
Paint Altrincham Blue is supported by Altrincham BID, who produce VisitAltrincham.com, and Ace Lips Comedy.
Paint Altrincham Blue 2023 runs from November 6 to November 11 this year.
