Timperley Civic Society and The Larkhill Centre In conjunction with FTS Trees Ltd
Recently six lime trees were felled on the edge of Larkhill and Timperley Car Park, due to decay. With funding from both Timperley Civic Society and The Larkhill Centre and working in conjunction with FTS Trees Ltd, two felled trees remain and will be made into four benches for the benefit of residents and visitors to Larkhill, where these will be sited.
FTS Trees limited will be bringing along a mobile mill and work will commence to create benches on Thursday evening.
Everybody is welcome to see our very own trees, being returned back to our village. Rather than seeing these go to either compost or landfill sites, this has to be the best way of recycling by giving something back to the community.
