Last Sunday 18th November 2007, at the Theatre Royal, St.Helens the Timperley Band won its third major competition of the year to become Northern Open Champions. The Jubilee Trophy was presented to the conductor of the winning band David Evans and The Stan Cook Commemorative Trophy presented to the best soprano player.

Tameside Open Champions 2007
Wilkinson Northern Open Champions 2007
The Timperley Band trophies that have been won are on display at the Quarry Bank, Timperley. Housed in a specially built cabinet, courtesy of Hyde's Brewery, Gary Winson (Band Chairman) say's "the cabinet is already full!"
