A SPECIAL tea party has taken place at Chapelford Village Primary School to celebrate the achievements of a young gymnast.
Anjali Khashu was awarded the Pupil of the Year accolade at this year's Warrington Guardian Schools Awards.
The talented eight-year-old is currently on the British Elite Performance Pathway where she trains for more than 20 hours every week with Warrington Gymnastics Club, and has picked up a host of trophies over the past 12 months.
Chapelford head teacher Joanne Hewson organised a tea party for Anjali's class to help celebrate her success.
