CENTRAL Club cemented their hold on second place in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League on Monday with a 6-1 win against Old Hall.
Star of the show for Central was Dennis Hand with a magnificent 14-dart leg.
The Cringlewood had a titanic struggle against Budenburgs with every game a close one.
It went down to the wire but it was the Cringlewood who took the points in the last game to win 4-3.
The Station had their best match of the season so far and their first win, taking the match 4½-2½ against a strong Gardeners side.
Leaders Timperley Cons had no match but remain top.
