PATIENT Erin Cross enjoyed a personal experience with Humphrey Bear, the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital mascot to celebrate a funding initiative.

Bespoke RMCH Clothes Aid charity collection bags will raise over £50,000 annually for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.

Clothes Aid, the UK’s leading charity clothing collector will distribute over 100,000 bags each week to homes across 10 licensed areas in the north-west. Residents simple need to clear out their cupboards of clothes and bric-a-brac leave in in a visible spot on the collection day stated on the bag.

Schools and companies are encouraged to support the new partnership and Clothes Aid would be delighted to arrange special bulk collections, simply call 020 7288 8545 to arrange.

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is the largest single site children’s hospital in the UK and treats over 260,000 patients each year and offers specialist services including bone marrow transplantation and paediatric intensive care.

The inner and outer bag design for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital closely follows the new ASA CAP guidance and will be distributed solely by Clothes Aid uniformed and identified employees.

Clothes Aid has raised over £10,000,000 for charities in the UK and Ireland and currently list Make-a-Wish, NSPCC, ISPCC, Zoes Place and Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) among its partners.
