ARTISAN traders from Altrincham and Sale will be heading to Arley Hall later this month for the Simply Cheshire Spring Fair.

More than 80 exhibitors will be coming together on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21, for an exclusive shopping fair at Arley Hall, in Northwich.

They have been chosen not only because of their Cheshire connection but because they produce, make or design something original.

Jewellery designers Jo Lavelle, Mia Calderisi, Joanne Bull and Rebecca Lawley, ceramicist Tone von Krogh, artists Mandy Cleveland and Anne Earnshaw photographer Matt Priestley, textile designer Lisa Watson, bespoke tailor Myles Anthony and willow weaver Juliet Hamilton will be among the homegrown talent at the two-day event.

A spokesperson for Simply Cheshire said: “This is a great opportunity to support Cheshire’s finest and to find something truly unique to add to your home, garden or wardrobe.

“There will be artists, makers, designers and producers, many of which will also be demonstrating throughout the weekend.

“There’s a chance to meet the makers personally and find out more about their work and influences.

“There will be free taster workshops, including furniture painting, watercolour painting and stencilling, amazing artisan food and drink, live music, Birdie the campervan photobooth, children crafts and an opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens at Arley Hall.

“It’s set to be a fabulous day out.”

Tickets are £8 for adults and £3.50 for children aged 12-16. Pre-book tickets in advance to save up to 25 per cent at simplycheshire.co.uk. A percentage of all ticket sales will be donated to The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
