A TIMPERLEY grandfather with terminal cancer is throwing open his home for a huge house party.
Tommy Stott, 67, and his family will be holding “Tommy’s House Party” on Sunday April 23 from 10am until 4pm, featuring a bouncy castle and kids activities as well as live music from Trafford’s much-loved band the Loose Change Buskers.
There will also be a raffle and auction, with the top prize being a weekend stay at the Park Plaza or Hilton Hotel in Dublin.
Other prizes and auction items include Manchester United and Manchester City memorabilia, hamper, signed books and vouchers from businesses in Trafford.

Retired chef Tommy, who has catered for Manchester United and Manchester City players during his career, as well as working at the Lowry, will also put on a buffet including sausage and bacon butties, pizza and refreshments.
The grandfather-of-five, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy, hopes to raise as much money as possible for cancer charities who have helped him since his cancer diagnosis.
The avid fundraiser said: “It’s going to be a lot of fun and I’m hoping lots of people will attend.
“I want to raise as much money as I can to support some of the cancer charities that have helped me since my cancer diagnosis.”
The event is raising funds for St Ann’s Hospice, Maggie’s Centres, Macmillan Cancer Support and The Christie.

The event is at 45 Heath Road, Timperley, and entry is a suggested donation of £5 per person.
