THE first Fizz Club of 2017 is just around the corner.
The Wednesday wine club will have its next date at Piccolinos in Ashley Road, Hale, on January 25, 7pm - 9pm.
The theme this month is “War of the Worlds” and guests will enjoy sparklers from the ‘old world’ and pitch them against some fantastic ‘new world’ alternatives.
The £20 ticket price includes tasting five different sparkling wines and Champagne; a quiz with a prize; and an Italian sharing platter of food for the table.
Any members who would like to bring a friend who hasn’t joined yet, the club is offering a half price membership fee of £10 if they sign up on the night.
Janet Harrison, the owner of Cracking Wine, runs six Fizz Club events per year in Hale – some of which will be exclusive producer evenings where the maker or supplier will bring along their own range.
The annual membership fee is £20 and for that members will receive: one free Fizz Club event; 20 per cent discount from a Fizz Festival ticket; 10 per cent discount off your first case of Italian sparkling wine (Prosecco and Franciacorta) from Con Gusto; £20 to spend on an Individual Restaurant card (new Individual Restaurant members only); as well as other offers and discounts.
