A LARGE scale hazardous material fire broke out in Trafford Park at the weekend.
Fire crews from Stretford, Bury, Atherton and Eccles were scrambled to Hibernia Way at around 7.50pm on Friday September 23 to reports of a hazmat fire.
Hazmat, defined as flammable or poisonous material, would be a danger to life or to the environment if released without precautions.
An environmental protection unit from Bury and one command unit from Atherton were called in to decontaminate the scene and were there for around three hours.
No casualties have been reported.
