A MAN has died after a collision in West Timperley.
Shortly before 1.30pm today, police were called to a collision on Turnbull Road in West Timperley.
Officers attended and found a black Peugeot 107 had collided with a garden hedge.
Paramedics attended but the 53-year-old driver died at the scene.
There were no other injuries or vehicles involved.
The man’s next-of-kin are now being made aware.
PC Phil Turley from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “My thoughts are with the man’s family at this incredibly sad time.
“An investigation is now ongoing, and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have any dash-cam footage to get in touch with police.”
