POLICE have issued a stranger danger warning after a 14-year-old boy’s was sexually assaulted by an elderly man in a Sale park.
The teenager was sat on a bench close to the playground in Dainewell Park at around 9pm yesterday, Wednesday July 27, when a man in his 70s sat down beside him and touched his leg ‘sexually’ over his trousers.
The man was described as white, of chubby build and medium height. He had grey or white hair and a large spot to the right of his forehead. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans, and was carrying a green carrier bag.
A spokesperson for Trafford South GMP said: “Parents please warn your children to be vigilant regarding stranger danger, more so now there are more children out and about during the school holidays.”
