TRAFFORD residents are being urged to illustrate with photos the ways they are helping to improve their communities.

People have been taking part in the ‘Be Bold and be the Difference’ campaign - from volunteering and setting up social enterprises, to people taking the time to visit elderly or sick neighbours.

Now the council wants these efforts to be captured on film and entered for a photography competition, to celebrate and acknowledge the efforts of everyone involved in the campaign.

People have until 5pm on Friday, July 8 to submit their entries. All they need to do is post their image to Twitter using @TPAction and #BeBold like the Facebook page www.Facebook.com/BeBoldTrafford.

The prizes up for grabs include four tickets for Manchester United’s first home game of the forthcoming season, two tickets to day three of the England v Pakistan test match on July 24 and four tickets to the NatWest T20 Blast match between Lancashire Lightning and Birmingham Bears on July 29.
