TRAFFORD welcomed Childcare Expo last week at EventCity.

Visitors came in their thousands through the doors as TV presenter Dave Benson Phillips cut the ribbon to kick off the event.

Special guests included award-winning author Alistair Bryce-Clegg, who arrived for a book signing. Tim Perkins, former Marvel Comics and DC artist, spent two days sharing his latest creations of comics and inspiring artists of all ages to draw until their hearts content.

Dave Benson Phillips had everyone clapping, shouting and signing the popular nursery rhymes through his Makaton workshops.

Whilst all the commotion was happening, educational seminars were active across the two days with the popular Gail Ryder Richardson returning for the second time this year to discuss improving outdoor provisions along with Di Chilvers sold out seminar which went into the detail of mapping children’s progress through EYFS.
