WE’RE going on an egg hunt! Head down to Dunham Massey for a weekend of Easter fun.

Over the Easter weekend, don your detective hat and join the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt around Dunham’s grounds.

Follow the clues to find a Cadbury’s chocolate prize.

The hunts will take place from Good Friday, March 25, to Easter Monday, March 28, from 11am to 4pm.

The park will also be open from 9am to 5pm over the weekend.

The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt helps support the National Trust’s work in looking after the places in its care.

Other half-term activities include a ‘Make a Mill’ willow weaving workshop to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the onsite mill.

The workshops will take place on Monday April 4 from 12noon – 4pm and are free.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6, listen to some Easter tales at the Storytelling event from 12noon to 4pm.

Try your hand at making top hats, bonnets and mop caps at the ‘That’s a Top Hat’ workshop on Thursday April 7 and Friday April 8, which run from 12noon to 4pm.

Step back in time on Monday April 11 to Wednesday April 13 with Victorian pastimes in the garden from 12noon to 4pm.

All of the aforementioned events are free but normal park entry charges apply.
