RECYCLE for Greater Manchester (R4GM) is hosting a free open day, which includes a tour of the Materials Recovery Facility at Sharston on February 17.
There are still places available but it is booking up fast. There are two sessions to choose from (10am to 12noon) or (2pm to 4pm).
R4GM are giving residents an opportunity to see what happens to their waste and recycling, which is collected from their homes in Greater Manchester every week.
The open day will include a tour around the facility and introduce residents to the facility that sorts and separates the items from their mixed recycling bin.
