A MAN has been charged after a man was shot in Stretford.
Dean Matley, 37, of no fixed address was charged with section 18 assault, possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life and possession of a shotgun when prohibited for life.
He has been remanded into custody to appear before Trafford Magistrates’ Court on Monday October 26.
Shortly after 2am on Sunday August 16, police were called to Mossvale Road, Stretford where an 18-year-old man had been shot in his leg. He was taken to hospital and was treated for the gunshot wound and is receiving on-going treatment.
