TWO Timperley teachers have put at twist on the traditional auction.
As part of The Willows Primary School new school building opening celebrations, 'Stan Still' and 'Neil Down' are holding a silent auction for the old, beloved Willow school gates.
The teachers have put together a humorous video to promote the school’s ‘Give a Gate a Garden’ appeal, which will take place at the official opening this Saturday October 10.
All bids need to be sent into the school office (The Willows Primary School, Victoria Road, Timperley, WA15 6PP), clearly labelled ‘Give a gate a garden silent auction’.
The entry must include the bid amount and contact details before October 10. The winners will be announced at the event, which will be held from 2-4.30pm at the school.
