'Chinese steam' is next topic for railway preservation society
THE Altrincham Electric Railway Preservation Society's next lecture in its 2014/15 Winter Lecture Series will be on Friday, March 13.
Entitled ‘Chinese Steam in the 1980s’, it will be a colour slide presentation by John Sloane.
The lecture is at Altrincham Methodist Church Hall, Barrington Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 1HF and commences at 7.30pm.
Refreshments will also be provided inclusive of the admission price of £3, or free for AERPS members.
