WHAT a difference a few months make.
After being threatened with closure towards the end of last year, members of Sale and Altrincham Musical Theatre were celebrating a double triumph at the NODA region awards.
Bob Etherington picked up the Best Supporting Actor in Drama prize for his performance as Geoffrey in Stepping Out and SAMT's Hot Mikado was named Best G&S Production.
The presentation ceremony was held at Manchester's Palace Hotel and chairman Paul Rendel said:
"It makes all the hard work the management committee have put in worth while and once again we would like to thank the Messenger and the theatre going public in our area for all the support they have shown us throughout the year and we look forward to meeting you across the footlights for our production of 'Allo 'Allo."
