SALE-born Karl Pilkington is among a host of famous faces who have put pen to paper to take part in this year’s National Doodle Day.
His 'doodle' of Manchester United star Wayne Rooney will feature alongside dozens more in a ten-day eBay auction starting on National Doodle Day, February 6. The auction will raise cash for national charity Epilepsy Action.
Karl Pilkington has been joined by household names including Sir Bruce Forsyth in his backing of the project.
This year, for the first time, members of the public can take part in National Doodle Day online. People can create, upload and share their scribbles on the dedicated website. Doodlers can submit their creations and compete for prizes at nationaldoodleday.org.uk.
Philippa Cartwright, fundraising manager at Epilepsy Action said: ““Every year we’re overwhelmed by support from celebrities and always look forward to seeing the variety and creativity of the doodles they send in."
