A COLLEGE student from Stretford has had her fair locks lopped for charity.
Katie East, 16, a former pupil of St Antony's, Urmston, decided to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust, which make hair wigs for children being treated for cancer.
The Xavarian College student had her hair shaved at her local guiding unit at All Saints Church.
She said: "My family and friends are proud of the shave and I am still receiving messages of support from them."
