THE newly founded Flixton Community Choir will be getting everyone into the festive spirit with their Christmas Extravaganza concert on December 2.
The group, which was first formed in the summer as part of Flixton Folk Festival, has come together again with a seasonal medley.
Choir director Ruth Boyd said: "We had so much fun in the summer we didn't want it to end there, and what better way to celebrate the joy of singing than by singing in one of the best seasons of year."
The choir will be performing some Christmas classics, including Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody.
The concert is at St Michael's Church, Church Road, Flixton at 7.30pm. All proceeds from the concert will go to the DEC Ebola Crisis fund.
