A WINTER campaign has been launched aimed at encouraging cyclists across Trafford to prepare for cold weather and the dark mornings and evenings.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has teamed up with bike shops to host events for cyclists to get tips and advice on how to stay safe.
People can take advantage of up to six hours free one-to-one cycle training tailored to their individual needs, which is particularly useful for cyclists wishing to change their route to avoid unlit or un-gritted areas.
There are also free bike maintenance courses featuring hints and tips on how to keep bikes in good shape in winter conditions.
Booking is now open for the winter sessions at: https://betterbycycle.eventbrite.co.uk.
