The Big Bike Ride
THE Sainsbury's store in Urmston raised £1,000 for good causes when it took part in the Big Bike Ride.
The event took place at the weekend and the money will be divided between three good causes - Hand On Heart, Timperley Girls Brigade and Once Upon A Smile.
Stores in Sale and Altrincham joined in the fundraising efforts and shoppers at the Sale supermarket also learned about Hand On Heart's campaign to have lifesaving defibrillators installed in every Trafford primary school.
