70s rockers Slade
ST Mary's Church, Davyhulme Road, Davyhulme, is holding a 70s Spectacular on September 13. Doors open at 6.30pm and the event celebrates the music of the era that gave us flared trousers, platform shoes and kipper ties and the music of the 80s.
The programme includes a set from Flixton band 26 Years Later who perform everything from the Sex Pistols to the Stone Roses. Tickets are £10.
